Robert switches on a speaker phone.

LT. MURRAY (V.O.)
(muffled)
We just received this.

The television shows a few ski-masked people surrounding a
tied-up Danny. The walls behind them are covered with
banners reading, "7.59 Pm," and "Death to Bloodsuckers!"

A ski-masked SPOKESMAN steps up to a podium.

SPOKESMAN
(muffled)
Today, we may be labeled criminals,
terrorists, or racists, but
someday, they will call us what we
truly are, revolutionaries.



INT. GRIGOROV'S HIDEOUT - DAY

Grigorov watches a TV in a small, dirty, sparely furnished
room. A canister of air, like for balloons, and a ceramic
jar are against the wall. The TV shows the 7.59pm video with
Danny tied up.

SPOKESMAN
(muffled)
You would not allow armed killers
to walk the streets with your
children. The police would
instantly arrest any man carrying a
gun.

The Spokesman bangs his hand on the podium.

SPOKESMAN (CONT'D)
(muffled)
But that is what occurs everyday in
this city. Vampires, killers of
mankind for millennium, now walk
the streets.

Another 7.59 member holds up a picture of two people in
burkas walking on the street.

SPOKESMAN (CONT'D)
(muffled)
At any moment, we could be nothing
more than their food. Are we to
wait until they decide to act?



INT. BELIAL'S OFFICE - DAY

Vlad, Mina, Thom, and Robert watch the television that shows
the 7.59 video, as before.

SPOKESMAN
(muffled)
We, for one, will not. We are 7.59
Pm, our very name tells the world
how to destroy our enemy.

The spokesman lifts a floodlight.

Mina cringes.

SPOKESMAN (CONT'D)
(muffled)
Our light, tuned to 7.59 picometers
will show the truth and turn our
enemies to ash. But we are not
killers, like our enemies. We only
ask that all Vampires leave our
country, never to return. Do this
and there will be no more actions
from us.

The spokesman points the floodlight at Danny's head.

Mina seems oddly relaxed.

SPOKESMAN (CONT'D)
(muffled)
But if you do not, our hunt will
begins, starting with the
destruction of this vampire.



INT. GRIGOROV'S HIDEOUT - DAY

Grigorov watches a TV, which shows the Spokesman pointing a
floodlight at Danny.

Grigorov picks up his cell phone.



INT. BELIAL'S OFFICE - DAY

Thom, Mina, Vlad, and Robert as before. The Spokesman is
still on TV.

SPOKESMAN
You have 24 hours to show progress
or we will have to act.

Thom storms around the room.

THOM
Dammit, I need to know what you did
with my partner! We need to
question that suspect.

Robert moves away from the others.

VLAD
No one wants my son back more than
me. I wouldn't stand in your way.

Robert lifts his cellphone.

THOM
But one of you took him. I don't
think the security tapes just
erased themselves.

Robert's cellphone reads, "New Test Message." The screen
changes to, "It must be done now. Do I have your blessing?"

VLAD
Why should I trust you? I know
what you are.

THOM
Hey, I'm FBI, and I want your son
safe. That's what I am.

Robert types on his cell phone and it read, "Yes."



EXT. CITY STREETS - NIGHT

Thom stomps down a city street.

He turns and enters a church.



INT. CHURCH - NIGHT

Thom enters a catholic church. The walls are covered with
stained glass windows and statues.

Thom walks into the confessional booth.



INT. CONFESSIONAL BOOTH - NIGHT

Thom sits down in the dark booth. To his right is a panel
and a mesh.

The panel slides away, revealing a male silhouette.

FATHER PORTER
Bless you my child.

THOM
Forgive me, Father, but I failed to
protect your niece, Lindsey, and
now she's missing.

The silhouette jumps to his feet.

FATHER PORTER
What?
