EXT. PATIO RESTAURANT - DAY

Carrie sits outside in the patio seating area of a
restaurant. Carrie looks around and checks her watch. There
are clouds in the sky.

Chuck enters and waves.

Carrie stands and waves.

Chuck walks to Carrie and they hug.

CARRIE
Wow, Chuck, it's so good to see
you.

CHUCK
It's great to see you too. How
long has it been?

CARRIE
Oh, I don't know, two years, is it?

CHUCK
I think you're right. It's been
too long.

Carrie backs up and pulls out a chair.

CARRIE
Well, come on, sit down. How have
you been? What have you been up
to?

CHUCK
Well, I've got my own shop now, as
you know. It was really funny.
Totally random, this guy comes in
and as we talk, he tells me about
some Carrie who's great at
advertising.



INT. CHUCK'S OFFICE - DAY

Chuck sits at his desk in a nice executive office.

CHUCK (V.O.)
And I was thinking, Carrie. What
are they odds?

Sitting opposite from Chuck is Agent Bob.



EXT. PATIO RESTAURANT - DAY

Carrie and Chuck as before.

CARRIE
Haha, wow, small world, I guess.

CHUCK
You're telling me.

Carrie looks to the side.

CARRIE
Actually, I just quit.

CHUCK
What?

CARRIE
Yeah, I've been there a while, and
it's really now what I want to be
doing for the rest of my life. So,
I just quit.

CHUCK
Wow, that's a change.

Carrie picks up a breadstick and chews on it.

CARRIE
Yeah, really. It's scary actually.

CHUCK
Change is always scary. Speaking
of which.

Chuck looks to the side. Tina walks towards the table.

Carrie jumps to her feet and runs to Tina.

CARRIE
Tina!

TINA
Carrie! How's my old roommate?

CARRIE
Not bad, not bad. What brings you
out here?

TINA
Well, Chuck told me to meet you
here.

Carrie looks confused.

CARRIE
Chuck.

TINA
Yeah, oh, you didn't know we were
together.

Carrie takes a step back.

CARRIE
You and Chuck. Wow, I mean,
congratulations.

TINA
Yeah, actually...



INT. BARKER'S OFFICE - DAY

Barker sits at his desk. Leonard stands opposite Barker.

LEONARD
Engaged.

BARKER
Yep, to her old roommate. Bummer,
huh?

LEONARD
Oh, damn. I didn't know.

BARKER
Oh it gets better.



EXT. PATIO RESTAURANT - DAY

Carrie, Tina, and Chuck sit at a table. Carrie looks
shocked.

CARRIE
The first date?!? How? What? I
mean... wow!

CHUCK
Yeah, wow is right. I guess we'd
known each other for a while, so...

TINA
So, I was like, we should just skip
the whole dating thing and just be
like serious boyfriend girlfriend
and stuff.

CHUCK
And so I said, hey, why stop there,
let's get married! But we both
wanted a real wedding, not the
Vegas thing.

TINA
And it's all set. Only a month
away. Aaaaaa!

Carrie screams with uncertainty in her voice.

CARRIE
Aaaaaaa... Wow, that's... I mean,
congratulations...

The skies look like it's going to rain.
